UF Lauded as “Green” University

FRAMINGHAM, MA: UF was recently designated a “green” college by the Princeton Review, according to the site’s Guide to 322 Green Colleges. The list includes universities in the United States and Canada.

Other schools in Florida who made the cut include Eckerd College, Florida Atlantic University, Florida State University, Stetson University, University of Central Florida, University of Miami, University of South Florida, and University of West Florida.

The University of Florida has a long and proud history working to be environmentally friendly, with the Office of Sustainability being created in 2006 to coordinate the efforts.
