New Semester Kicks Off with Growing Programs

Students walk and bike in front of UF's Norman HallGAINESVILLE, FL: Spring semester classes kicked off on Monday, January 7.  ISE programs appear to be as popular as ever, coming off a fall graduating class of over 40 undergraduates and undergraduate enrollments inching towards 600 students.  The senior design project course, traditionally taken in the final semester of one’s studies, has nearly 60 students enrolled, which means it should be another large graduating class in the spring.  Graduate programs are also healthy, with over 200 full time master’s students and 50 Ph.D. students pursuing degrees.
