Krall Urges Graduates to Continue Momentum at Commencement

GAINESVILLE, FL:  ISE graduating senior Elizabeth Krall served as the Female Student Commencement Speaker for the College of Engineering on Sunday, May 6.  In her speech, she urged her fellow engineers to follow Newton’s three laws of physics by staying in motion, accelerating their careers, and remembering that each of their actions has an effect on someone else.  “I encourage you to continue to stay in motion,” she said.  She suggested that her fellow graduating Gators continue on a path of life-long learning and stay engaged with the University after leaving.  “You may not be able to be a Bull Gator two years out of college, but that doesn’t mean you cannot make a difference,” she said.  She suggested funding a small scholarship, mentoring a student, or convincing an employer to hire a student intern.
