Alumni and Friends
Dear Alumni and Friends,
The department of industrial and systems engineering has a tremendous history – over 75 years and counting – built on the foundation of its alumni and friends. The future is just as bright, as the Department is committed to providing state-of the art educational and research programs to its current and future students. In order to make this happen, it is imperative that alumni are engaged, and help provide opportunities for students and faculty to pursue excellence in everything they do.
We are eager to hear from you and learn more about your career path and your experience as a Gator ISE. ISE graduates are entering the workforce with a multi-disciplinary view of industrial and service systems. Sharing your information adds to the endless possibilities that await our students after graduation while also providing an opportunity for us to reconnect you with current students and the Department. It is always uplifting when an alumnus shares his or her knowledge with students in the classroom, or when their company is willing to sponsor a senior design project that provides hands-on experience for our students.
If you have not already done so, we encourage you to join your fellow alumni, and take an active role in the future of the ISE department. We are committed to helping you play an active role in the growth of our programs and we look forward to meeting with you to share news of our successes in the future. There are several ways to get involved that include making a donation, providing internship and full-time job opportunities, sponsoring a senior design project, engaging in a research project and speaking with students. As an alumnus, perhaps your greatest reward is the role you play in preserving the spirit of the university and supporting your ISE family.
We want to hear from you and we look forward to meeting you.
