The University of Florida is located in Gainesville, Fla.  It is about 1.5 hours south of the Georgia border and 2 hours north of Tampa and Orlando.

To get to the Reitz Union Hotel, follow these directions:

From the South:

- Take the Florida Turnpike to I-75 North.  Follow I-75 for 3/4 - 1 hour until you reach the Gainesville exits. 
- Get off at exit 384 (Archer Rd).  From the off-ramp, go right (east) on Archer (stay in the left 2 lanes) until you reach North-South Drive (roughly 2-3 miles from the interstate).  N-S drive is the first light after Archer Rd narrows to 2 lanes.  If you reach Shand's Hospital, you have gone too far. 
- Take North-South drive north (make a left from Archer) until you reach the 2nd light (Museum Rd.).
- Take a right on Museum Rd.  The Reitz Union is on your left with the parking garage.  You may park in the parking garage (no fee after 4:30pm, free parking if you stay at the reitz union hotel).

From the North:

- Take I-75 south until you reach the Gainesville exits. 
- Get off at exit 387 (Newberry Rd).
- Make a right (going east) from the offramp onto Newberry Rd.  Stay in the right 2 lanes.
- Stay on Newberry (Middle lane is best) -- it will turn into University Ave. 
- After University narrows to 1 lane, you will be in a residential area.  Eventually, you will see the stadium on your right (can't miss it).  Make a right at the light when you first see the stadium - that's North-South Drive.
-  Follow North-South drive to the 2nd light (Museum Rd.).  Make a left onto Museum Rd.
- The Reitz Union is on your left with the parking garage.  You may park in the parking garage (no fee after 4:30pm, free parking if you stay at the reitz union hotel).

In the Reitz Union

Once you have parked and gotten to your hotel room, you will need to check in.  Check-in will be in the Rion ballroom on the 2nd floor of the Reitz Union.
